Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our Kingse Safaris friendly safari guide will greet you and take you to your hotel in Nairobi. After a long journey, unwind in the comfort of your lodge or hotel and take in the sights and sounds of the city. This evening is yours to rest, refresh, and prepare for the unforgettable safari ahead. Tomorrow, the real adventure starts—so get a good night’s sleep and keep your camera ready!

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, the road to adventure begins as you head toward the legendary Maasai Mara. The drive takes you through rural Kenya and the scenic Great Rift Valley—a perfect introduction to the natural beauty of this country. Upon arriving at the reserve, you’ll jump straight into your first afternoon game drive, where you might catch your first glimpses of lions, elephants, or even elusive leopards. Tonight, settle into your lodge or tented camp, surrounded by the wild sounds of the African bush. The excitement is real, and the memories are just beginning.

Full Day in Maasai Mara

Wake up to the golden light of the Maasai Mara and head out for a full-day safari adventure. Our expert guide will take you deep into the reserve to explore its vast savannahs, rich wildlife, and the iconic Mara River—famous for seasonal wildebeest crossings. You may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village (optional), where cultural stories and warm smiles await. With picnic lunch in the bush, time slows down as you connect with nature in its rawest form. As the sun sets, you return to camp, tired but filled with wonder. Tonight, share stories around the fire under the stars.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

This morning, say goodbye to the Mara and head north toward Lake Nakuru National Park, with scenic stops through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll be greeted by flocks of pink flamingos, grazing rhinos, and perhaps even tree-climbing lions. The contrast in landscape—from open plains to wooded hills—offers a new perspective on Kenya’s beauty. As the sun dips low over the lake, enjoy a relaxing evening at your lodge inside or near the park. Today brings a gentler, quieter kind of magic, where colour, birdsong, and reflection steal the show.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey south to Amboseli—one of Kenya’s most iconic parks. The drive offers stunning views of rural life and, as you approach, the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro looms in the distance. Known for its large elephant herds, Amboseli greets you with dusty plains, acacia trees, and golden light. Arrive in time to settle into your lodge or tented camp inside the park. Stretch your legs, take in the crisp mountain air, and listen to the wild call of nature. Tomorrow promises spectacular encounters and sweeping views — but tonight, rest beneath the shadow of Africa’s tallest mountain.

Full Day in Amboseli

Rise early for morning and afternoon game drives through Amboseli, a park teeming with life and framed by the snow-capped beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro. Watch elephants move gracefully across the plains, spot predators on the hunt, and enjoy birdlife in the swampy wetlands. Around midday, take a scenic break with lunch at Observation Hill—offering panoramic views of the park below. If you’re up for it, visit a local Maasai community (optional) for a cultural immersion. Return to your lodge in the evening, heart full, camera full, and spirit recharged by nature’s raw power and beauty.

Amboseli to Nairobi & Departure

It’s your final safari morning, and the last chance to take in the wide skies and peaceful silence of the African bush. After breakfast, begin the drive back to Nairobi with stops along the way. Depending on your departure time, enjoy a short optional city tour or local shopping experience.

Our guide will ensure a smooth transfer to the airport and help you with check-in. As you say goodbye to Kenya, you carry more than photos—you take home memories, stories, and a deep connection to a land that stirs the soul.
