19 days Tanzanian & Kenyan Cultural & Wildlife safari FAQs

What makes this 19-day safari different from regular tours?

It goes beyond seeing animals by mixing cultural events with game drives. Travelers encounter the Maasai, Hadzabe, and Datoga communities, eat with natives, and tour artisan enterprises. This makes it more immersive than a regular East African safari.

The trip takes place in both Kenya and Tanzania. Some of the most important areas to see include Nairobi, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Mto Wa Mbu, Lake Eyasi, as well as cultural experiences that are valuable along the road.

Yes, the Kenya and Tanzania Safari is designed to help people form meaningful connections. Expect meals at home, excursions to villages, interactions with schools, and time with traditional groups like the Maasai, Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, and Datoga craftspeople.

People who go on this combined East African Safari will probably witness the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. They will also see giraffes, cheetahs, hippos, wildebeest, and hundreds of other birds. You may also see the Serengeti migration if you time it correctly.

The Tanzania and Kenya Combo Safari includes a combination of luxurious lodges, tented camps, and hotels with a lot of character, many of which are close to wildlife or cultural attractions. Options strike a mix between comfort, local style, and immersive environments.

The balloon experience over the Maasai Mara National Reserve or Serengeti National Park is optional and comes at an additional cost. It offers a sunrise view of the plains followed by a champagne-style bush breakfast.
