Most group tours treat a solo traveller as a problem to solve: a single supplement here, a stranger for a roommate there. This trip is priced solo from the first dollar. Eight guests at most, four to a Land Cruiser so nobody's stuck in a middle seat, and a proper lodge room to yourself every night. Come alone, with your partner or with a friend, your own space is the default, not an upgrade.
The route runs Tanzania's Northern Circuit the right way round: Tarangire's elephants, the Ngorongoro Crater at dawn, then deep into the Serengeti. From August to October it pushes north to the Mara River for the Great Migration crossings. Want the beach too? Add four nights on Zanzibar and we fly you there straight from the Serengeti, so the whole group carries on together to the sand.

Two routes, one idea
June and July run the classic circuit while the plains are dry and the crater is at its best. August to October, the Great Migration is massed in the far north, so those departures trade two central nights for three on the Mara River.
River crossings are wild events, not scheduled ones. August brings the herds in strength, September is statistically the most reliable month, and October adds the chance of southbound returns. We put you in the right place at the right time; the wildebeest do the rest.

Prices are the 8-day safari, per person, your own room throughout — that IS the solo price, no supplement. Add Zanzibar when you reserve (from +A$2,130). Travelling as a pair and happy to share? Take A$1,640 off the safari each. Eight guests max per departure.
Per person, own room, land only from Kilimanjaro Airport. Travelling as a pair sharing one room? A$1,640 off each, settled on your trip balance, the A$1,000 reserve is the same either way. Departures are guaranteed at 4 guests.
If your departure doesn't reach 4 guests, you move to another month free or get every dollar back. No quibbles.
