Jackson designs every Kingse trip from the Gold Coast, the routing, the lodges, the timing, and stays in your corner from the first enquiry until you're home. He's spent years in the field across East Africa, from the Serengeti to Bwindi, so the plan you get is built on places he has actually stood, not a brochure.
A country-town kid who spent years in construction before this, he took his mum to Tanzania in 2023, met Pete as their guide, and built Kingse out of the friendship that followed.

Pete grew up in a farming community in Karatu and was Jackson's guide on the 2023 trip that started all of this. He runs the whole operation on the ground in Tanzania, the vehicles, the camps, the moment-to-moment calls, and hand-picks and personally vets every guide on our team.
He still takes the wheel himself when the dates line up, and either way he sets the standard every Kingse guide is held to. His network across Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda is what makes seamless multi-country travel actually seamless.
Operations & Client Experience
Samara runs the client side of Kingse, from your first enquiry through to the day you fly home, the planning detail, the bookings, the run sheets, and every question along the way. She works hand in hand with Jackson on every trip, so there's always a real person who knows yours inside out.
Our Guides
Your guide is the person you'll spend every morning with, and they make or break the trip. Every guide on our team is a senior professional, hand-picked and personally vetted by Jackson or Pete, and they're our own people, not a stranger pulled from a pool. Here are some of the faces who'll be with you on the ground.
Raphiele grew up on the outskirts of Arusha and has guided travellers across northern Tanzania for more than 15 years. Off the road he runs his own farm, raising everything from cattle and sheep to turkeys and guinea fowl. That mix, a real connection to the land and a guide's eye for wildlife, is what makes a day out with him feel like being shown around by someone who genuinely lives it.
Beyond the northern circuit, we have senior guides we trust across the region, each one vetted by Jackson or Pete and presented as one of our own. We're rolling out their full profiles here over the coming weeks.
