Getting around
A set safari, built to flex
The same legendary route, done the way you'd do it with no compromises. You drive the beautiful southern arc, treehouse suites above Tarangire, a historic coffee farm on the crater's shoulder, then trade the long road north for a light aircraft straight into the heart of the Serengeti.
Three nights at Asilia's Namiri Plains put you in the best big-cat country in the central Serengeti, with a private guide, beautiful tented suites and the time to simply be there. Lake Manyara steps aside to a scenic drive-through, because at this level the trip is about depth, not ticking boxes. The flagship camps (Singita, &Beyond) are available on request.
Day by Day
Here is the trip as it stands. Every day of it can move, stretch or swap, this is a starting point, not a fixed package.

Day 1
Met at Kilimanjaro and settled into Gran Melia Arusha, polished, calm, with Mount Meru filling the window. An easy evening to land properly before the safari begins.
Overnight

Day 2
South into Tarangire for an afternoon among the elephant herds and thousand-year-old baobabs. Tonight you're up in the canopy at Tarangire Treetops, one of the most memorable beds in the north.
Overnight

Day 3
A scenic climb with Lake Manyara shining below, and time in Pete's community along the way. Tonight is Gibb's Farm, a working coffee and vegetable farm on the crater's forested shoulder, all wood fires and garden-to-table food.
Overnight

Day 4
A first-light descent into the crater for the morning, then back up and a short flight that drops you deep in the Serengeti by afternoon, straight onto the game, no long transfer.
Overnight

Day 5
Namiri Plains was closed to the public for twenty years to protect the cheetah, and it shows. A full day with your guide in some of the richest predator country on earth, at your own pace.
Overnight

Day 6
Drift over the waking plains at dawn by hot-air balloon, then a champagne breakfast in the grass. The rest of the day is yours to spend on the game, or simply on the deck watching it come to you.
Overnight

Day 7
A last morning drive, then your flight back to Arusha and onward home, or a smooth connection to Zanzibar for the beach finish.

Where You Sleep
Lodges flex with your dates, your group and the season. If something is full or you fancy a step up at one stop, we swap it and re-cost on the spot.
The Investment
Twin share, excluding international flights. That works out around AUD $2,820 per person per night, all-inclusive on safari.
What's included
Not included
From-pricing is a starting anchor on a two-person sharing basis. Every Kingse quote is built live against the day's lodge, park and flight rates for your exact dates and group, never from a brochure. International flights you book yourself, so you keep your points and your routing.
Get this costed for your datesAdd the beach
Finish on the ocean in style. A smooth connection takes you to Zanzibar for four nights at a premium beachfront resort, all transfers and flights handled. Spa days, a sunset dhow, dinner at The Rock out on the reef, the slow, warm end the trip deserves.
Beach base: Melia Zanzibar
From AUD $7,800 pp
Zanzibar charges a visitor insurance fee (about USD 44 per person, paid online before you travel) and a small infrastructure levy (about USD 5 per person per night, paid at your hotel). We flag both in your pre-departure pack so you land prepared.
